Foil balloon Knowledge

What happens to foils in temperature changes?
This is something you need to know about if you are dealing with number towers etc....
When foil balloons get exposed to cold temperatures the air inside contracts which makes the foil look like its deflating. It will go all soft and floppy. But as soon as its put inside in the warmth again it will go back to normal.
In your ts and cs make sure you explain this. As customers will panic when they collect their balloons and also when they come downstairs in the morning (if they don't have heating on through the night). You need to explain that the balloons cannot be kept in the car or a shed/garage. As if exposed to cold air over a long period of time it will damage them and you can't guarantee they will go back to normal fully. You will also need to explain that they cant have their heating on full whack in their cars when collecting their balloons. As a sudden increase in high temperature will make the balloon pop.
In heat the balloons do the opposite... Hot air expands, which means your foils could pop if you don't leave enough expansion room when inflating.
In your ts and cs make sure you explain that the balloons need to be kept away from heat sources such as radiators and fires. If your customer is collecting their balloons in summer then they will need air con/fan on in their car, as cars get extremely hot in the heat of summer and you don't want your balloons to pop.
Top tip... Try to inflate your balloons in the condition that they will most likely be in. So inflate them at room temperature during the day. Don't do it at night if your heating is off. As this won't reflect the environment they will be in most of the time.
Inflating your foil balloons
Inflate all of your foil balloons at least 24 hours in advance. By doing this you allow enough time for any faults to show with your balloons. Which will then leave you time to rectify any issues. So no customers will be let down.
Remember customer service is key, as word of mouth is the best advertisment you can get.
So by letting a customer down with a display because you noticed a fault with a foil 10 mins before they collected, will result in bad word of mouth.
Make sure you have every eventuality covered.
